Rosemary was wonderful. She made sure to make me feel involved in the workshop, even though a work obligation caused me to miss the first day (it took place Friday and Saturday). We didn't do as much in-session writing as I hoped, but there was a lot of time for people to read their stuff, and I was amazed at all the wonderful things people started on the day I wasn't there.
And yeah, reading Secrets of the Zona Rosa was what actually inspired me to take this workshop. I discovered it in the main house last year...I was waiting for a load of laundry to finish and needed something to keep me occupied. Needless to say, I made sure to order my own copy the minute I got home. I love the way she demystifies the writing process, and reminds me that I shouldn't take it so goddmamn seriously. :)
