seabird78I don't remember how Alex Shelley wound up on my couch. But I do have a distinct image of him sitting there. He was next to me, but slightly elevated, using the cushion that provides back support as his seat. He cocked his head in response to some story I was telling, listening intently, and continued to hold eye contact long after I finished.
I blushed. We both laughed. There was an awkward silence, after which he slid down the cushion and leaned in. I felt his face getting closer and responded accordingly, until his lips were inches from mine.
I closed my eyes, breathless with anticipation.....
and then my alarm clock went off.
Note to self: Do not watch TNA before bed. It only leads to tormented dreams.
