Little pink houses....

So who ever would've thought that my decorating taste would turn out to be so girly? Carpet's installed, painting is finished and to show for it I now have a place that is wall-to-ceiling pink with some splashes of pale pale purple. It's still pretty empty, because we haven't been back to the old place since it snowed Tuesday, and as such cannot get in there to get the rest of our stuff without wading through ankle-to-knee-deep drifts. But with any luck we'll be able to shovel ourselves a path to the entrance, and finally finish up what I am now calling The Winter of Endless Moving.

I so can't wait to get this over and done, and I think when we're fully settled in I'm throwing a party. Chicago-area LJers are invited of course, but more on that as it develops.
