Yesterday I was ailing from evil sinuses, today I'm bemoaning the fact that I can't seem to condition my feet to handle the couple pairs of cute, heeled shoes I've bought, or even some older dressy sandals that I busted out to wear with the first sundress I've donned all season. Which brings me to a question I have for all you ladies who hoof it/ride public transportation to work...is it normal to experience perpetual blisters from wearing "professional" shoes? I was wearing a flat loafer-type deal almost exclusively up until recently, so I don't know if my feet are still adjusting and need to develop tougher skin, or if this is something I can look forward to indefinitely.

The problem area is around my big toe, and higher up on the sides of my feet where the shoes rub against the skin as I walk. And it's not totally severe as of yet, but it's uncomfortable enough that I'm considering doing the Mister Rogers thing and changing from gym shoes into something nicer upon my arrival at the office each morning.

Although I suppose pantyhose might solve the problem as well....I just hate wearing them in summer.
