If you're in the Chicago area I request, no, I ORDER you to get thee to the Beacon Pub in Forest Park tonight, and help my good friend Stephanie celebrate the publication of one of the most poignant coming of age stories I've read in a long time.
The fun starts at 7, early enough that you can stop by and still get home to bed at a reasonable hour. And if you're lucky I JUST MIGHT consider introducing you to the guest of honor, so as to facilitate a personalized signature when she signs your copy of her book.
