Indianapolis: a teaser
Sep. 19th, 2010 09:59 pmSo I rented a car and drove down to Indianapolis yesterday for the J.C. Bailey memorial show.
It was my first time visiting that city, and I have lots to report. I may even do a blow-by-blow account, much like I did when I traveled to Nashville earlier this year.
But in the meantime, I will just say that I'm glad that I went. And I'm even more glad that I didn't spend the night as I initially planned, because even though it was exhausting to drive all the way back to Chicago in the middle of the night, being home allowed me to go meet Chris Jericho at Chicago Ridge Mall this afternoon!!!
That experience needs a write-up too, not so much for my Y2J interaction, but so I can process some of my fan observations.
Hopefully I'll be able to discuss both events in greater detail later this week. If I don't it's only because I'm hot and heavy with my novel. J.C.'s show triggered a SHIT TON of ideas about some plot points and some supporting character back story, and I'm really anxious to get all of that down so I can sort through it.
Stay tuned for more!!!!
