Asking the experts
Dec. 27th, 2010 09:52 amOkay, F-list, I'd like to pose a question to all of you.
I'm planning on making a trip to Atlanta, GA in early April. I've made a reservation for a reasonably priced hotel near the airport, just to ensure my friend and I have somewhere to stay, but I'd love to find something more conveniently located, providing that something doesn't charge an arm and a leg as their nightly rate.
I'm going to do some research, but in case any of you know off the top of your head, where are some good neighborhoods/hotels in ATL that allow easy access to the Georgia Dome and the Center Stage Theater?
I've never been to this city, much less the state, so I need all the recommendations I can get.
Thanks guys!!!
ETA: Okay I found a Days Inn downtown that was too cheap to pass up. So now the only thing I need your help with is food recommendations and feedback on whether it'll be possible to get back and forth using public transport or if I should build cab fare into my travel budget.
