Mania debrief
Apr. 7th, 2011 09:48 pmOMFG what a good trip I just had!! And as a matter of fact, I had some airline issues that even forced me to stay a day longer than I expected. Which of course, made it that much more depressing to come home Tuesday afternoon and return to the salt mines Wednesday.
Suffice it to say I'm still processing all of the adventures I had, and so it may be a little while before I can write coherently about them. But in the meantime, I'll share a few photos that I hope will give you an overall sense of how I spent my extended weekend.
It all started with my arrival at the Atlanta airport, where the baggage claim entrance offered an omen of things to come:

Then I rode the MARTA downtown, and though I aimed to walk to my hotel, I somehow ended up in Centennial Park where I made friends with a competitor in the Purina Dog Challenge:

From there I managed to re-orient myself, and dragged my suitcase up a steep sidewalk to reach the Days Inn, which served as headquarters for the weekend:

My friend Max was waiting for me, and with that the fun began:

As you can see, I have lots of moments to tell about! I'll see if I can narrow them down to the highlights and come back a bit later with a proper write-up.
