Gone again, gone again, jiggity jig

I concoct this long list of entry topics that I want to cover in my head. And then I find myself out of time, unable to work on them, because life calls.
Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
Especially not in this instance, when I'm off to Springfield for a writing retreat hosted by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. I'm carpooling with a couple ladies from the area, and hoping to return on Sunday with at least one completed chapter, the troublesome one that I've been screwing around with for at least two months now.
If nothing else, it'll be nice to be unplugged for a couple of days, and to be in nature.
