LJ Neglect
Aug. 23rd, 2011 07:37 pmApparently, August 2011 is the month for me to neglect my LJ writing!
I haven't completely abandoned this thing....I've just been busy.
There was Comic-con, which I know I mentioned briefly the last time I posted.
And then....while I was at Comic-con, I got word that work wanted me to travel to a couple of events.
So this past weekend I visited Atlanta, where, in addition to my work obligation, I got to see
mdatl for the second time in one year. And I saw the Guns and Roses tribute band, Appetite For Destruction, an experience which will get its own entry soon, I hope.
You noticed I said a couple of events, right? Yeah, that's cause I have one more to do this coming Sunday. The trip will be even shorter, just a Sunday morning to Monday afternoon, but I'm even more stoked to go because it's being held in........
wait for it..........
wait for it........
wait for it just a leetle bit more.........
SEATTLE!
CITY OF MY HEART!
Home to the Experience Music Project, where, providing things go as planned, I'm gonna squeeze in a visit so I can see their new Nirvana exhibit that commemorates the 20th anniversary of Nevermind!
I may even ride to the top of the Space Needle Sunday night, since I didn't do so during my epic 2009 trip.
If I can bring myself to come home after this, I will do my best to provide a full report!
