Just saying
Sep. 3rd, 2012 06:15 pmI didn't get to everything I wanted to do this summer.
I didn't get everything I wanted, goal wise. And I think I finally made peace with the fact that there was a certain relationship I was hopeful about that will just never get off the ground for reasons beyond my control.
But the stuff that did happen, planned and unexpected, more than made up for it.
So yeah, just wanted to state for the record that the summer of 2012, was pretty fucking awesome.
And ended in the most perfect way, with a trip to the Ren Faire Saturday, a writing group session yesterday that got me back on track with my novel, and a nice day of quiet today.
I am grateful for all of that.
And I am ready for all the goodness, all the happiness and joy and meaningful connections that I know that Fall will bring me.
I welcome it. So c'mon, Fall, bring it on!
