That's better

Remember my previous entry?

The one where I was griping and grousing and feeling incapable of getting through life?

Well, that feeling has passed, as it always does.

I wasn't able to finish all the tasks I listed on the day that entry was written, but I managed to muddle through all the essentials (shower, lunch, tamale hut prep) and finish all the rest throughout the course of this week.

And now....

And now....

And now I just have to keep myself occupied here at work until 4:30 or 4:45. Shouldn't be hard. I have a couple mailings that I hope to get packaged and out the door before I leave. And I'm meeting with my boss at some point, which should kill at least an hour.

After that?

I ride the train up to Logan Square, where there will be dinner with [livejournal.com profile] troubl3maker, followed by my first ever Chikara show.

After that?

I ride the train home, where I will scramble to pack my suitcase and perhaps run across the street to Ultra Foods for a few travel-sized toiletries that I am running low on.

After that?

I fall into bed and wait for morning, when I will make my way to Midway and blast off to San Antonio.

After that?

I get to spend two and a half days experiencing sight-seeing and wrestling fun with [livejournal.com profile] luchalibrarian. My first ever ACW show. And not just any ACW show, but a special Queen of Queens Joshi tournament!

After that?

I fly home and marvel at how great my life can be, even if it presents difficulty at times.
