Just figured it out, I think--never mind.

Since I don't use my own LJ space, I'll just briefly comment on a few. The year in question, by the way, is '86.

1. That's What Friends Are For - Dionne & Friends--I sympathize with the impetus, but gaw, it's sappy.
5. Living In America - James Brown--We knew you when, JB.
10. You Give Love A Bad Name - Bon Jovi--The funnest of their trash.
11. Higher Love - Steve Winwood--Could live the rest of my life without hearing it again.
13. Greatest Love Of All - Whitney Houston--I knew she sang treacle, even before The Bodyguard.
15. Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel--Do I still like this more for the video than the song? No, I don't think so.
21. Word Up - Cameo--Yeah, baby!
26. Dancing On The Ceiling - Lionel Richie--When I felt cynical (often), I referred to this as "Hanging from the Ceiling."
30. Rock Me Amadeus - Falco--A friend of mine actually bought Falco 3. Bought!
31. I Can't Wait - Nu Shooz--Holds up well.
34. Crush On You - The Jets--Anything by the Jets or by Debarge can kiss my ass.
38. R.O.C.K. In The USA - John "Cougar" Melloncamp--From 50s nostalgia to singin' for Ford. OK, I still like this. Had Scarecrow like the rest of 'em.
42. I'm Your Man - Wham!--Yeah! My one favorite Wham! song. I wanna do this at karaoke sometime.
48. Everybody Have Fun Tonight - Wang Chung--Never knew "wang chung" was a verb until this one.
63. Sex As A Weapon - Pat Benatar--Big mistake, Pat; you were a fine, gutsy rocker until you got serious.
64. Superbowl Shuffle - Chicago Bears--Bring back the Fridge!!

God, pop music was dismal. Still is, overall.
