Random moment of prettiness
Feb. 1st, 2007 04:28 pmThis afternoon when I went out to grab lunch there were tiny flecks of snow floating in the air, made translucent by the bright afternoon sun. I watched them drift along, trying to figure out why they seemed so lovely and magical when I realized what they reminded me of.
Glitter.
It's not too often that I view snow in such a positive light, so either I'm adjusting to being out in the cold for my new Blue line commute better than I thought, or the sky decided to celebrate my presence by scattering handfuls of my favorite art supply.
I prefer to go with the latter, thank you very much.
