Random moment of prettiness

This afternoon when I went out to grab lunch there were tiny flecks of snow floating in the air, made translucent by the bright afternoon sun. I watched them drift along, trying to figure out why they seemed so lovely and magical when I realized what they reminded me of.

Glitter.

It's not too often that I view snow in such a positive light, so either I'm adjusting to being out in the cold for my new Blue line commute better than I thought, or the sky decided to celebrate my presence by scattering handfuls of my favorite art supply.

I prefer to go with the latter, thank you very much.

Agreed! Just the right amount. Not enough that it was annoying and flying in your face, but just enough that it was pleasant.
