Pour me another shot....of cough syrup

Still haven't regained full command of my respiratory system yet. The evil cough remains, and I had to get my doctor to call in a new prescription since my original one hasn't been effective enough.

I hate this. I hate coughing so hard my eyes tear. I hate not being able to draw a full breath. I hate that I feel nothing but weak and tired.

And more than anything else, I hate that all I can do is sit here and whine about it. Hopefully this fresh round of drugs will do the trick, with the help of my bottle of Robutussin and mug after steaming mug of homeopathic tea.
