I'm still a little rattled after yesterday's wallet-snatching incident. And I'm dreading the whole process of getting a new license.

But it's not all doom and gloom.

This morning, I got an e-mail invite to an art opening, and I smiled because the text spoke of how the event was "...hosted by the nexus of art gatherings in the near-west suburbs, The Tamale Hut Cafe."

Seeing Tamale Hut described as "the nexus" really REALLY put a grin on my face. Those of you who follow WWE will get my amusement.

I am SUCH a nerd sometimes!!!!!!!!!

I think I've called in everything they could have exploited. So once my replacement cards come in the mail everything will be a-okay!
