Why today was good (Warning: Gilmore Girls spoiler ahead)
I got to sleep in till the late, late hour of ten a.m., following a night of music and stories at the Tamale Hut.
I got my inner cheeseball on, thanks to USA broadcasting the remake of Hairspray. I came across it by accident while I was channel surfing, and once they started singing and dancing I could not in good conscience turn away.
There was writing and good food, as there is every Sunday as of late. My output did not make me feel as triumphant as it did last week, but I made good, honest progress and am nearly done with Chapter Ten.
We finished season four of Gilmore Girls, and it ended with Luke and Lorelai finally kissing!!!!! It was a beautiful moment that made me squee and clap. And no, I don't give a damn if my saying so makes you laugh or roll your eyes.
So there.

In other news, I'm 3/4 of the way through the book of concert essays you lent me. Tracy Chevalier's account of seeing Queen is my fave thus far.
