I hate it when my attempts at writing something coherent crap out. I was trying to write a piece ripping on this alderman who wants the city to regulate the type of oil used to cook french fries, (here's more info: http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-fries08.html) and I just couldn't muster up enough indignation to really make it work. And I spent so much time trying to find the right words that I haven't started my recap of the puppy wedding yet.

Sometimes I think I subsciously sabotage my efforts at creativity, and I wish I could understand why that happens.
