Whatever happened to subtle innuendo?

I was leaving my favorite sandwich shoppe yesterday after picking up some lunch, and overheard the conversation of two women leaving at the same time:

Woman 1: That was fun.
Woman 2: And cheap!
Woman 1: Just like us! We're fun and cheap!

I don't know why this was so amusing, but I still smirk every time I think about it. Most likely because I find it funny that Woman 1 felt it was necessary to state the obvious. I guess people can't leave things unsaid or implied anymore? *Shrugs*

In other news, I think I got infected with the holiday spirit today. Not sure where it came from, but it has struck with a vengeance.

I once saw a woman wearing a T-shirt that said "Fun" and "Cheap" strategically placed in the chestal area. (Umm, no I didn't, just kidding).

I got struck with the "clean and sort" spirit. So far it's only extended to changing the light bulbs and finding out the light still doesn't work so there must be a short to call the landlord about. Hopefully that spirit will turn into more action soon.
