Skinhead question

seabird78I don't have the time or inclination to research this myself, but I have a burning question about skinheads. Can anyone tell me what it signifies when they use red laces in one boot, and black laces in the other?
I saw a guy who had done up his feet this way on the train last night, and it made me really curious. So I decided to tap my wonderful base of knowledge here, and see if any answers surfaced.
